These are the places that don't have a full entry in this guide but that I have found to have something that can be made vegan, have soya milk for coffee (not including big café chains) or sell slices of vegan cakes etc.
Places that have closed down
In case you are looking for these places, they have closed or been removed: Out To Munch, Hiziki, V1, The Vegetarian Pot, Salamander (replaced by Squeek which in turn was replaced by Aubergine, which has closed), Siam Thani (replaced by Thailand No.1), Dotty's Café, The Screen Room, Lantong Thai, Rosemary's Health Foods, Café Nomad, Felicini (though there's still one in Bakewell), Chiquito (no longer has vegan options), Bake O'Clock at the City Art Gallery.

A pub near to the QMC serving pub food with a few vegan options including Vork Pies.

The falafel burger can be made vegan by omitting the raita. Although they like to advertise their veggie options, GBK's advertising is deliberately antagonistic to vegetarians so you might want to give them a miss.

In the narrow alley that leads from Long Row up to Upper Parliament Street, a coffee house that has soya milk and some vegan foods options including cakes, cupcakes, waffles, toasties and sandwiches.

This shop sells delicious handmade chocolates. They seem to have about half a dozen varieties that are suitable for vegans.

Only vegan items are the Veggie Delite on Italian bread and the Veggie Delite salad.
Not a food shop, but the smell makes you hungry! Handmade non-animal tested cosmetics, much of which is vegan. Lush are an ethical company who donate a lot of their profits to charities and political campaigns.
The Cast restaurant which is part of Nottingham Playhouse has a couple of vegan options on their menu - a Superfood Salad and Bean & Pepper Burritos.
The café at Nottingham Castle has soya milk, vegan ice-cream for milkshakes and may at times have other options such as cakes, soup and sandwiches.

A record shop and gig venue with simple food available (bagels, snacks etc.) including vegan options
The Glee Club is a comedy/music venue close to the railway station. Shows are ticket only but there is an open bar downstairs. The only vegan option on the menu is a sweet potato, spinach and chickpea curry for £9.50
Homemade cakes and sandwiches with a few vegan options.
Wetherspoon pubs include a sweet potato, chickpea and spinach curry on their food menu which is vegan if ordered without the naan bread. There are numerous Wetherspoons around Nottingham.
Toby Carvery’s vegetarian menu includes a nut roast wellington which is suitable for vegans. Ask for it without the butter.
A small pizza café in Sherwood, on the site that was Kiosk. Excellent pizza with vegan cheese available.
