The Gamston Lock is a large Marston’s pub on the Eastern edge of Nottingham, close to the Holme Pierrepont Country Park. There are a few vegan options which are clearly marked on the menu.
The Unicorn Hotel is a Marston’s pub in the village of Gunthorpe, to the east of Nottingham. There are a few vegan options which are clearly marked on the menu.
The pub is in a beautiful spot next to the River Trent, close to Gunthorpe Lock. It’s a great place to sit outside and watch the boats going past and you can take a nice walk along the riverbank.
The Horse & Plough is a Castle Rock Brewery pub in the village of Bingham, south east of Nottingham. There is a separate vegan menu with a variety of main meals and sides. Most of the dishes are based on tempeh. Food is served at lunch times and evenings.
There are also vegan real ales on tap.
This used to be The Old Angel pub, now transformed and completely refitted. It’s a lovely pub with a small beer garden in the fashionable Creative Quarter. The food menu is about half meat, half veggie and most of the veggie options can be vegan. The food is pub-style including a mushroom burger, pie, breakfast, roast dinner etc. There are vegan desserts including cheesecake and pear tarte tatin with ice cream. All the drinks are vegan including their home brewed real ales.
A lovely foody pub built into a cave. There are a couple of vegan options on the menu and they sometimes have vegan cask beer. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable.
They have a function room making this a great place for parties and wedding receptions. The food is excellent and the chef will create a menu to your requirements.
