A hidden cocktail bar and restaurant in a beautifully decorated venue, set across four floors (there are lots of stairs to climb). The cocktail bar on the top floor has to be seen.
The restaurant has offers a 'bottomless afternoon tea' at the weekends that has vegan options (pre-booking only)
You can find HAC by going through the very narrow and unassuming gate next to Q Hair and Beauty on Carlton Street. There are usually a couple of friendly bouncers hanging around outside. Go up some steps and into the building. The next staircase is across the other side of the first room you enter.

We went last yr for a friends 50th.
They don’t have a kitchen so any blunders in the order (and there were lots) can’t be rectified.
Cheap sandwiches n processed/supermarket cake.
My partner ended up with 3 sandwiches n a piece of cake for his nearly £40.
Another person in our party they went n bought her a pizza from down the road.
Staff were lovely, service was chaotic, food was very poor…like really bad buffet in a cheap pub.
Setting is beautiful, go and treat yourself to a wonderful cocktail, but avoid the food.
